Modern Rustic Guest Bedroom Inspiration

Happy Sunday sweet friends!

While we all find ourselves impacted by the growing concerns of Covid-19, the Mr and I have decided to take full advantage of this extra time at home together to work on adding a pinch of personality and a whole lot of coziness to our guest bedroom.

If I’m being completely truthful, I’ve been terrifically underwhelmed with the endless expanse of beige in our home and decided that the best thing to brighten me up would be a few of my favorite go-to colors!

At present, the guest room is a snug fit at only 9′ x 9.5′ and is home to a queen bed, nightstand, TV stand, and floor lamp.

To maximize square footage our plan is to take everything off of the floor that we can, add versatile pieces to aid with storage, as well as elevate and widen the room through curtains and a clean paint palette. As this room is a home away from home when we have family staying with us, we want to ensure it’s inviting and comfortable! With that in mind, I’ve put together an inspiration board to help bring our vision to life.
